Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.
The attack - which police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
